When teaching Careers or the pathway to transition to high school it is important that the student understand their strengths and weaknesses. I have accumulated a series of tests that the students can do and then have them present their findings in a portfolio to practice their professional skills.
This activity can be done on its own or part of a larger unit. I have included an idea of how to cover the careers course which worked very well for students. It allows you to personalize it for each student and work with the students as they are exploring options and their skills.
The list of I am and I have is also great for language learners to practice using some of their vocabulary or to build sentences.
There are no wrong answers.
