It is important for the students to do their own research into the leader. Once they compare we often discuss the past interest in the ability to speak French or to represent parts of the country. The expectations around politics or their background helps to highlight differences from the United states and it is also great to consider bias and how we want the leader of the party we like to be the most qualified. The trends are interesting to watch when checking this assigned work as a teacher. ❤️
