❤️ With the new movie coming out and the recent interest in the causes of WWII, this lesson on what happened in the Pacific theatre is crucial. I used to show a clip from an old movie about the Nanking Massacre, and with the new movie being released, understanding the scale of depravity is important.
This worksheet (that can be used without the film) helps to review the key facts. It has a word bank to help students that can be completed with an internet search or be teacher-led. It is helpful to have a worksheet for a supply lesson or absent students.
I like to use these comparison starters to help encourage the students to write and make their own comparisons once they are interested in the topic.
