Francis Pegahmagabow fill-in-the-blank activity
This fill-in-the-blank has 10 items in a word bank, so students can easily fill-in the blanks. Since Peg or Peggy was in all the major battles of WWI this is also great for review and highlights how Indigenous people were treated in the war who volunteered at such a high rate. His records are available if you want to take a deep dive and show students that learning cursive is advantageous for historical inquiry.
Ypres, Somme, Passchendaele, no man’s land, chlorine, medals, Indigenous, 1914, WWI, Ross Rifle
The answer key is also included.
This is in a slide show format and is ready to print, add it to your own resources, or edit as you need.
Have fun learning!
