This simple activity can be used to highlight what you want to emphasize using the changes in Canada’s map. You could highlight the expansion, the additional provinces or use the dates to highlight the timeline. The geography basis is also a great transition for those who took geography in Grade 9 for a review. I have also used this at the end of the course to highlight continuity and change for essay and thinking questions.
